“Monks, there is the case where a monk, having fallen into an offense, refuses to make amends. |
tatra ce bhikkhūnaṁ evaṁ hoti ayaṁ kho āvuso bhikkhu āpattiṁ āpajjitvā na icchati āpattiṁ paṭikātuṁ handassa mayaṁ āpattiyā appaṭikamme ukkhepanīyakammaṁ karomāti. |
“Now suppose the thought occurs to the monks, ‘Friends, this monk, having fallen into an offense, refuses to make amends. Let’s impose a suspension transaction on him for not making amends for an offense.” |
te tassa āpattiyā appaṭikamme ukkhepanīyakammaṁ karonti adhammena vaggā .pe. |
